Claude Tag adds personal connectors for Slack channel requests
Anthropic is rolling out personal connectors for Claude Tag (beta) on Team plans; Enterprise support is planned. Requests can use the sender's connected accounts, with response review controls. Unattended routines still require shared channel connectors.
A team member can compare a private Drive plan with shared GitHub changes and review the answer before it becomes visible to the channel.

Sandia reports low-power atom trapping for quantum sensor research
Sandia reported trapping cesium atoms around a 420-nanometer optical fiber using 5 milliwatts of light. The experiments support work on compact inertial sensors, but a complete chip-based interferometer has not been demonstrated.
The testbed enables development of atom-guiding and measurement methods before chip integration for potential navigation without GPS.

DAVINCI engineering model passes six Venus-temperature heating tests
NASA reported that a DAVINCI engineering probe model survived six heating cycles reaching 465°C in about an hour each. Tests used simulated instrument hardware. The mission still needs approval to enter final design and fabrication.
The results support the probe's thermal protection design for collecting atmospheric measurements during its planned descent to Venus.
