Connection and software

Initial setup uses a phone connected to the gadget's Wi-Fi network.

  1. PhoneWi-Fi and preferences
  2. Corvax TVDisplay, dial, timers and media
  3. Shared-data serverWeather, exchange rates, RSS and YouTube

Shared data

The operator prepares access for each gadget. Its owner then connects home Wi-Fi. A server collects and caches public readings; the device indicates when data is old or unavailable.

OpenAI on the device

OpenAI sign-in, news requests and the Codex usage connection remain on the gadget. The shared-data server does not hold the owner's OpenAI session.

Updates over Wi-Fi

The device checks signed firmware releases and asks for confirmation before installing. Two application slots support rollback after a failed boot.
